Signing on to Hallelujah House Survivors
Community

Solving Problems with signing on
I have found that the best way to log into the HH
survivors site is to log on to whatever name or email account that you used to
setup your "Live passport" (a requirement of MSN communities) and tell it to
"remember this identity on this computer". You may have to do this every time
you log on to some other MSN related service by any other name. In my case I
setup a Hotmail email account (in order to qualify for the live passport) in MSN
and I go there and log in first then I can get into the HH MSN community.
Any way here is the answer as supplied by Microsoft
Complaint: You can't sign in to a website or service
If you can't sign in to a website or service with your Windows Live ID,
try the following:
- Make sure that your whole e-mail address, including the part after
the @ sign, is typed in the E-mail Address
box.
- Check that the Windows Live ID network isn't temporarily
out
of service.
- Check that the website or service that you want to sign in to has
the Windows Live symbol.
- Make sure that you typed your password correctly. Passwords are
case sensitive
(Capable of distinguishing between uppercase [capital] and lowercase
[small] letters. For example, A is different from a. If information is
case sensitive, it must be typed with the required capitalization.)
. If you've forgotten your password, try to
reset it.
- If you haven't used your Hotmail or MSN e-mail address for a long
time, it may be deactivated. If your account is deactivated, visit the
Hotmail registration website to open a new account.
- Your user name may become unavailable if it doesn't have msn
or hotmail after the @ sign, and you haven't used the
account for more than a year. To sign up for new credentials, visit the
Windows Live ID website.
- Make sure that you have configured your browser to allow
cookies
(A small text file, created by a website, that stores information on
your computer. For example, your preferences when visiting those sites.)
. If your browser doesn’t allow cookies, you can’t sign in with
your Windows Live ID.
